Acne is common skin condition occurring mainly in teens and young adults.
It is a cronic skin disorder that is casued in part by excess production of sebum, an oil, from sebaceous glands. This in turn causes the pores to plug.
Mainly effeting young adults and teens, acne can effect people from the ages 10 through 40. Acne can appear as any of the following;

Whiteheads, charatersized by a whitish buldge in the skin. It occurs when the pore reminas closed.

Blackheads, charatersized by a black buldge in the skin that occurs when the pore remians open and the bateria is exposed to air.

Pimples, can be both but pimples occur when the inner walls of the pore rupture and causes a small localized infection.

Cysts (deep pimples). deep, painful, pus-filled lesions that can cause scarring..
