Why We Lack Energy...

Food is energy. Energy is food. With the proper diet we can meet all of our nutritional needs. Organic foods are the best source energy. Fresh organic fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds and unprocessed grains are a very good source of these life giving nutrients. Since so few of us consume foods genuinely fresh and unadulterated, practically all of us need to supplement our diets with nutritional supplements.

Getting the nutrients we need from our food supply just doesn't happen in today’s over processed world. Fruits and vegetables are being grown in chemical fertilizes, pesticides and waste contaminants. They're often coated with toxic chemicals. They're harvested and forced ripened with a gas causing catastrophic nutritional loss.

US Senate Document #264 states that "99% of the American people are deficient in minerals and a deficiency in any one or more important minerals actually results in disease."

Also, many foods that we may consume are now genetically modified. The site, www.truefoodnow.org, offers an extensive list of foods by brand and category, indicating if they have, or do not have, GM ingredients[1].

As a results our foods are becoming more and more depleted of the life giving nutrients our bodies need to maintain our energy levels.

Also, aging is another major contributing factor. From twenty years on, every year our body’s ability to fight off infection, produce energy, repair injury starts to decline[2].

Many baby boomers believe that suffer from a lack of energy. 33% worry a lot about managing it and another 38% biggest worry is the loss of energy as they age[3].

How can we overcome this worry? How can we discover how to keep our energy level at its maximum potential?
